I have put some slabbed proofs away when I can pick them up cheap and some rolls and 2X2's of proofs. How are you doing yours .. all slabbed? I was thinking I would do from 1950 up .. what years are you planning on doing? IMO Jefferson nickels are a great set, that can be done in high grade and not spending .. to much. So far I have the Dansco w/proofs only issues, all done in BU and proofs. Also have the 1994 and 1997 matte proofs and a Henning nickel. I would like to have the 1971 no "S" but have not run across one of those. Report this Post to the Staff
jprine Pillar of the Community United States 1599 Posts	Posted 09/09/2012 11:14 pm GR58-I free them from slabs. I have added pages to my dansco for the additional proofs, headed backwards toward '38. I have also completed a set from circulation (without proofs). It has been a fairly easy set to complete and not too expensive. I do not have a Henning yet, but am on the look out for one. All have slots of Proofs and all are full so far. I see yours are all in slabs. Nice looking and really high grades. Looks great but for me, slabs just take up to much room.
