Small 1947 Gold Mexican 50 Peso Coin

Kevy_78 New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 09/11/2012 04:06 am I bought this coin yesterday. I knew it wasn't the actual real 37.5g coin. From what I have found on the internet the coin is 21k gold and weights 5g. It was also made by a Mexican mint and is usually used as a decor item. I pulled out my professional digital mini scale and the weight added up. Its sealed up and I didn't see any scratches with my 8x loop. It is still 21k gold and 5g. Its worth in gold (current market value) is $247.63. I only paid a fraction of its worth so I can't complain. ebay here I come. Report this Post to the Staff
