Ooooh. I didn't expect *this* when I clicked on the thread.  Although I'll throw 65 at it, I wouldn't be shocked to see it in 66 plastic. |

Looks like a MS-65. Might have a PL obverse, semi-PL reverse which could mean it received a star. Wonderful coin!  |

Not sure I get that. "PL" is not mint-dependent, in the same sense that you might make allowances for a weak New Orleans strike, and these aren't uncommon with the designation. Going with my gut, I don't think the reverse of this coin would make PL. I'd be pleased to be proven wrong. |

San Fran is notoriously known for their excellent strikes, especially on the morgans. The services are usually harder on going with a PL on them....
