Looks like Turkey km730 100 Kurush (AH1293) or km776 100 Kurush (AH1327)

EDIT - probably the second one after looking at the date ~1909 AD

So I think it is Turkey. a 25 Kurush. The coin weighs 0.05 ozt, and looks identical to KM 773/774.

I may lean towards KM 774. I can't read the language, but Krausse states the reverse is the Wreath and the Star, and the description for the OBV for each is

KM 773 - Toughra; "el-Ghazi" to right
KM 774 - Toughra

The picture for KM 774 is correct, expect for the portion where this comes in. The portion for KM773 has a different character (larger, more intricate) than this one (simpler).

I do agree the date is 1327, so I think I'm in the right ball park.

You pretty close Fuzzy. Props for that!

Now if we can find a Turkey Coins expert.

It's a gold 25 kurush, all right, but KM# 752, with "reshat" to right. NGC page. The regnal year on yours is on the obverse, below the toughra: "2". So your coin is dated 1327//2, which translates to AH 1328, or AD 1910.

Unfortunately, given the circular damage pattern (most visible in the stars on the obverse), I'd say this one is ex-jewellery; it was once mounted in a bezel that damaged it.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Yeaa, I knew it was likely damaged from something like that.

I got it for melt, so it was an acceptable risk. Thanks for the info Sap!

The translation of the reverse is "Was struck in Constantinople" 1327.

Yes I'm serious that's what it says. This is a common inscription form. The upper part says "was struck in" and the bottom word is the mint name. In this case Constantinople.

"Now it's Istanbul not Constantinople, why did Constantinople get the works?"

Hmmm, size and weight are a bit too low, should be 15mm and about 0.6 ozt. Also, some details are wrong or too crude compared to other examples of this exact type and year.
I would be suspicious of it based on the dimensions and appearance.

And a 15mm coin that is 0.6 ounces? That's a fat coin.
