Finally got tired of having a hole in the Greenland part of my collection. Bought this one a few days ago. A little grimy but I am happy with it.

Probably the most I have ever paid for a non-precious metal coin. I originally got in to coin collecting because of silver stacking. I found out that world silver was cheapter. Now I am paying for this type of stuff.

Nice, my only Greenland coin is exactly the same as yours. It is about XF and I paid $8 for it a few years ago on ebay.

They seem to be getting pretty expensive these days since they are low mintage.

Ten years ago, a Greenland coin (a 1926 1 krone) was my first ever international purchase on ebay, because I'd never seen a coin from there in any local dealer's stock.

Isn't it odd that 10 years ago you hardly ever saw these, and today they are plentiful even though they are over 85 years old? Coin trends are just crazy sometimes.

I don't know about the US, but 10-15 years ago I used to see them frequently.

I got one at the beginning of July, it was the first one I had seen for many years.
