Hubert and I dug into all of the coin bills from this Congressional section to see what was proposed, what is likely, and what will be getting made... plus our analysis.

I'm researching a second piece on failed Commemorative Bills since 1982.

Another interesting article.

I hope most realize that one of the best parts of your articles is the "FLIP OF A COIN" section at the bottom.

I particularly like this one from today's posting...

Quote:
The 1964-D Peace dollar was authorized to be struck the same month that dollar designer Anthony di Francisci passed away at the age of 77. His wife Teresa, who modeled for the "piece", survived Anthony by 26 years, and lived long enough to see a balding president and a stern suffragette replace her comely countenance on the obverse of America's dollar coin.

Personally I hope the WW1 gets through, almost no one who served in WW1 if anyone is still alive today but its often over looked when it comes to commemoration with WW2 getting almost all the attention.

I also agree that the National Parks one could be better used and does seem a little unnecessary at this time with all the ATB coins and that a 10 gold coin isn't the best choice for anything unless Gold comes down by then.

Thanks for the link and the article.

On the bright side all these programs don't get passed.

Thanks for the great article. The baseball one sounds interesting.

I hope those new proposed commemorative coins don't get approved.
