I received an email from Colonial Acres today regarding new and future products and releases. They have an antelope date 2013 for pre-order at it says sold at spot price. Does anyone here have an idea of what this might be? http://colonialacres.com/products.p...36233&ref=47Is this really from RCM? Thanks!

Yes, it's part of the 'wildlife' SML series from the Royal Canadian Mint....that also includes the Cougar, Wolf, Moose, and Grizzly.

Does anyone here have an idea of what this might be? I ordered it (2 coins) from them last week and already received them. The newsletter arrived late, and now it isn't "Pre-order", they have it in store. The coins that I get are very nice, without any imperfection. So, if you gonna to order something new from them anyway, so you may add the Antelope too.

Dated 2013 and you have already received them? Are they really minted by the RCM?

Yes, I got them. I think many people have them in hands already. Except this - take for example new RCM release - at least Anniversary SML fraction set also dated by 2013. (See my pictures of it in the 1/2oz penny thread) And the Antelope is really RCM issued bullion. You may search for it on Kitco or APMEX sites. I will add soon the picture of this coin, that made it last night.

Wish there was a place in the US to get this coin. Shipping is outrageous.

Mintage is 1M. I'm sure it is available in the US soon - it's certainly on ebay now. I got mine last week from C/A and as was said, they are beautifully finished for bullion coins. BTW - there are 5+ pages on this topic https://goccf.com/t/126308

See the pictures: They are not perfectly clear, were done last night, but still give an idea of "live" coin:

to BiBo: Not at all. The capsule is Lighthouse's one (38 mm) and the RCM case belongs to other coin. Just put it together for the picture. The coin came in some mylar coin pouch. I asked CA, how it was handled, and according to them, when the tube was received, the coins were immediately separated and inserted into pouches to storage - for future sell. The coins look great, I satisfied with this purchase , want to believe, that coins were handled with the gloves.

Gainesville was $38.68 plus $5.95 for shipping for a total of $44.63. I happened to stop into my local coin shop to catch up on the latest gossip. While I was there, the mail came and he received 50 antelopes. I got one for $40.00 out the door. I thought that was an alright deal for the coin in the US
