I found this quarter with a yellow look to it. Way different than a regular quarter like this.
Any ideas?

Sunshine Toning without beauty but no actual premium.

After doing an online search,
I found that a few of the 2004 IOWA quarters have a "missing clad layer".

The site mentioned a good premium for a coin like this on ebay.

I found it on this website: unsure if the site will be posted though.

The other side of the coin looks normal.

That quarter is not missing any cladding; if it were, the color would be coppery, not yellow. The yellow is toning. I have a lot of Statehood Quarters that have a nice yellowish tone from being stored in a plastic container for years.

I found this in my change a few days ago. Unless someone had it in a plastic container for years & then decided to spend it?
The pic dosent show the color properly...It looks alot like the coin in that link I posted a few up from this post where it says some can be upto $400?( http://www.cointalk.com/t3221/ )
I'll take another pic & try to show the color better. TY for all the responces...I'm learning daily!

That coin is missing a layer of cladding, if you coin was missing it too, you wouldn't be able to see a silvery tinge in the picture.

An error coin missing a clad layer looks nothing at all like your coin, compare to mine and pay particular attention to the contrast between the sliver of CuNi clad remaining and the red copper core-

A coin missing a clad layer will also be significantly light compared to a normal coin.
