(Also, Earle, when I was in fifth grade my science class did the "how many licks . . . " experiment and the answer is "an average of 47 with outlying numbers of 28 and 63, or, if the kid who crunched through the last layer when he got the very first teensy taste of chocolate is ignored, 34 and 63." I memorized this just so I could be the smart aleck who actually answers when the question comes up.)
