Here is another odd Lincoln Wheat cent I came across, 1935-D with the 5 being elongated.

Nice cent ,, I see alot of coins with this type of deterioration on the dies ,

Im not sure if it is an effect from polishing or just natural wear ,, maybe coppercoins will comment on the coin and help us out.

That's die wear. It's the same thing that caused the 1955 "poor man's" doubled coins. The same effect is rather common on 1946, 1949, 1953, 1954, and 1955 cents. It is not worth a premium value.
