Hi,
Some larger scans of these bills showing greater detail would be nice to assist in providing an educated answer.

They don't look CHCU, can't see if they have any fancy serials so it's tough to give an answer. Why do you think they are worth saving?

I would save them, but that is just because I have been able to find any bills before 2000 in circulation around where I live. That is just my opinion.

I checked out larger views of them and it looks like the 5 and 20 should be spent, no matter how long you keep them they will be worth less the what they can buy today, next year they will probably buy less, spend them now. It looks like the 1974 50 is decent and if your going to put together a set of 50's it's worth keeping. Bill Collector

As others have said, you should not go by how old a note is to determine value.
There are many notes that are older than these that are worth face value.
For a note to have value, it needs to have something special. For example, low printing run, condition, star note, fancy serial number or error.
IMO I would use those three notes to purchase one or more collectible notes. I also would suggest .. figure out what you want to collect and focus on putting that collection together.
I see many collection every week, some are put together from circulation, some are put together by a collector seeking out specific notes (or coins). The collection that are put together with a specific focus are always the better collection.

As others have said, you need to choose what you are going to collect ($1 only, animals, high value, UNC condition etc etc).
But for a note to have value it needs to be wanted by others, in general this means low or unusual serial (radar, repeater, date etc) be in good condition, be starred (though that is no guarantee), be unqiue (like snorters) etc etc.
You can see that the notes you have scanned do not have any special serial number, arent starred and the condition is not excellent (though exact condition is v diff to judge from this scan)
In essence I would say they are all spenders, however teh £50 may be worth keeping hold of. (I would keep it simply because I was born in 1974 and am inexplicably a little anal about keep stuff from teh same year)

Personally I would spend them as well. There are no attributes to the serial numbers , etc. that would make me want to save them and as far as the condition, the wear and the markings strictly would rule that out for me as well.

These are no good. Send them to me post haste. I'll see they are put to good use . You can still find these bills in mint crisp condition, without bank ink stamps or other company markings. Spend with reckless abandonment.
