I can't really see it that good, I think you should send it to me that way I can judge in person and heck if you want I can give it a good home :)

Leading edge (wing) and neck wear on the eagle and a touch off of the hair around the ear and right knee on the obverse.

wait, you got it out from a NGC slab for what reason? To crossover to PCGS or for your 7070?

Quote: wait, you got it out from a NGC slab for what reason? To crossover to PCGS or for your 7070? Basically, I'm not a slab collector. I have all my coins (well, most) in Dansco Albums. This, of course, makes me break out coins from TPG slabs (if I buy them slabbed...)so they can then go into the Dansco Album. Why did I buy this coin? I noticed my 1846 Medium Date and 1846 Tall Date Seated Liberty half dollars were actually both Tall Dates! Unacceptable! So, I found this nice 1846 Medium Date and, presto! Here it is! Another slot in my Dansco filled with a quality product!!

Quote: Can you post pics of the difference between the two You Bet!! 1846 Seated Liberty Half Dollar (Medium Date vs Tall Date) Obviously the Tall Date is taller than the Medium Date and the 6 in the date has more of a gap in the 6 opening. And on the Tall Date, the number 6 also leans over to the right much more versus the more upright 6 in the Medium Date.
