I need opinions on this 1943 nickel. It doesn't appear to have a mint mark. I have looked at it under the only level of magnification I have on hand, which is about 2x, & I can't see any sign of a mark. Any opinions on if this is an error, or is it just so worn that the mark is not visible?

the pic shows the bottom of a P mint mark ,, I very often take pics of coins now days with my eyes getting a bit less dependable and put them full screen on the computer to get a better look.

The eye doc told me 2 years ago to get bifocals.....I told him my arms were long enough to hold things far enough away to see. I might need to rethink that.
