Bought em in a bag not thinking they would be anything special because I only saw a bunch of pennies and a few Kennedy halves. What I found inside though....... 1939,1940,1942,1944 x2,1945, 1946, 1952 x2, 1953, 1954, 1957,1959, 1960 x2 in silver quarters. 1964 x2 silver dollars, 1945 mercury, 1949, 1964 silver dimes. What would you value them at?

By rough figures on the silver weight and it's market price, around $125, +/- $5. A nice haul. Numismatic value beyond that is unknown to me, likey minimal but I'll let experts weigh in.

WELL melt on your quarters is about 6 bucks each the silver dime is worth about 2.38 in silver alone I cant make out the dates on your Kennedy halfs if 1964 then the silver alon is around 12.18 or so. If they are 40% silver they still have melt value but I am not sure the amoun my guess would be around 5 bucks on a 40% Half. I dont buy or collect 40% coins other than ones that are a part of a set I have built

Not worth anything. I'll take 'em off your hands No, actually, it looks like you have a nice little $100+ haul. I don't keep up on spot as well as some other folks, but the quarters alone based on the price I know are worth about $75 melt.

You have a 1964 dollar? I thought they were all melted down and are illegal to obtain or have one!

Chinesehorse, it is a 1964 Half Dollar. The US 1964 dollars are illegal to own.

The OP made a slight typo calling the halves, dollars. I don't see anything here that would be of high enough grade to warrant numismatic premiums beyond silver content. You do have a good amount of silver there. Just checkout (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed .com and use their calculators to see what your coins would be worth on any given day.
edit to say...I've been gone from this site for a year. Apparently, I can't post certain website names. Well, simply go to "that popular website" where people can check out what any of their coins are worth as far as metal (precious or base) content.

Well the next question is what did you pay for the bag and what else was in it?
