I have been having a heck of a time finding a good looking Flying eagle and a cornet Half Cent for my type set. I fear I wont like the flying eagle until it is in MS. There are so many details in the feathers that I cant seem to live without.

I'm saving for a 1877 IHC, so far I've been pretty good about letting
the coin allowance grow, but it's not easy. I feel like I let a couple deals go.

There must be something about the 1885 Indian cents, I've got a fine or so but, can't seem to find one in AU or better, that's reasonably priced.

Nothing as most everything I want is easily found from forum members or online/shows plus I'm not a real picky person :D

For me it's the 1815 Bust Half Dollar that grinds my gears. I have decent quality halfs for every year starting in 1803 but no 1815. I guess I could buy one if I sold my car.

I thought I had a chance about a year ago but the seller changed his mind about selling.

You won't believe me, but I have found it most difficult to locate a nice enough 1908 Barber dime!
I am most fussy about my set, and this one eludes me.
It just SPOILS the balance, the one that I have.
For me, balance in a set is most important.

Took me AGES to find a 1902-S Dime!
But I did. When I was NOT looking for it.

ARGH.

Mine are at least a fine and most above that up to AU.
It is my one, and only, "WOW" set.
The nicest compliment that I got, just last month, was, "How nice! They are balanced."
Took YEARS to get to this point.
My 1895-O is an AU-58 - broke my bank account but am glad to this day that I bought it.
I ground my gears for many years to get to this point.
Do not each one of us have a series that we focus upon?
I suspect that we all do.

Then get ahold of Rick Snow at indiancent.com he has a super looking 1858 in AU that sure looks better than a lot of MS coins I've seen, and his price is pretty good too. Rick is a super guy and honest too.

I want to sell off a few, not high grade, Indian cents. Mean with "Liberty" showing. If there is any interest please let me know.
Actually, ALL of my Indians are up for sale.
I have not as yet tried to sell anything here and I do not want to make any mistakes.
I have been, selling, to local dealers. And I am not at all unhappy.
But not these cents so far.
How should I proceed?

Matthew, you should proceed by posting them in buy/sell/trade, which is the appropriate forum. I'm not the only IHC collector, and probably not the only one who would be interested, on this forum.

ninamason,
Would you consent to review my first "sell" offer prior to actually posting it?
Actually, help me to compose it correctly?

Matthew,

I don't actually hang out often in the sell section--trades is where you'll find me. Just describe well and accurately, set your price, and PICTURES!! PICTURES!! PICTURES!!
