Congratulations!
I put together a complete Eisenhower with proofs set (minus the T2, still looking for one) in the Dansco. Ikes are beautiful, especially a full set!

I think I just fell in love with a slabbed set of coins! This is an amazing set to look at in pics. I cannot imagine what it must actually be like to see it in person.

I must say, WOW Very Nice Set Indeed, something to be proud of... I'd be sleeping on the couch with them for a night or two (away from the wife's bedroom) before storing them away Erik

Thanks for all the positive comments. Yes, they are really something to behold in person. Just to know that I own a complete graded set of a particular coin is very satisfying, especially since these are Eisenhowers. I can't imagine having a complete graded Morgan dollar set like this- those mythic, high grade registry sets. Actually, an MS-70 business strike Eisenhower dollar is mythic! There isn't a single example of an MS-70 Eisenhower is there? MacCoins- If I'm not mistaken, I believe I started this set back in March of this year. Once I bought the first one, I went nuts buying all the rest. I was determined to finish the set by the end of the year.

I believe I will also collect some of the other varieties not listed in the Red Book. I know of the "Friendly Eagle" variety, but what others are generally accepted by the collecting community- the ones that PCGS/NGC recognize?

Congratulations.
This is a fun set to put together.
One of these days I'm going to do the set in slabs. I know you can get some really nice undergraded coins pretty cheap in slabs if you're picky. I like nice Ikes.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
