It's now October 21st.....Ordered my Grey Cup Special Edition Silver Dollar on August 21st and still haven't seen it....the Grey Cup Game is in a month.
Hope I get my Silver dollar before the game.....not like the Silver Loonie that showed up well after the Olympics.
Good thing I picked another Grey Cup silver Dollar up at a Shopper Drug Mart PO outlet when they first came out.
Anyone else out there still waiting for their Grey Cup Dollar?

I ordered mine back in August as well (21 August) -- it shipped about a week later and I received it just a few days later in early September. Have you called the RCM to check on your order? Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.

Hey Commens.....On the same order I also ordered the 25 cent Grosbeak, Grey Cup Dollar, and $20 Farewell to the Penny Commemorative Coin.
All that has showed up so far is the 3 $20 Farewell Commemoratives.
guess I'll have to give them a call tomorrow....

Ordered mine 21 Aug as well. Called a couple of weeks back and was told it would be sometime between Mid-Oct and Mid-Nov. Still showing as status New Order.

Wow! I didn't realize that there were delays with the Grey Cup silver dollar. When I received my order so promptly, I figured the RCM was on top of things with its straightforward silver coins and that only their bedazzled offerings were delayed. Sorry to hear you're still waiting! I hope you all get your coins very soon! The coin is very nice in hand, I'm sure you'll be pleased with it when you do receive it. I had no idea this coin was selling so well! There is one at the post office, I think I am going to have to stop himming and hamming about it and buy the darn thing! It's a breathtaking coin in person.

Grey Cup Silver Dollar finally showed up today.....only a week to go till the Cup Game.
Only coin I'm now waiting for is the 5 Silver Penny Set

Kind of disappointed that it is back on sale because I almost had to order from a dealer like Colonial or Gatwest and pay for shipping. Luckily, my local dealer had one left.

Colonial has raised their price to $74.95 now. Recently they were sold out.

Another example of a coin that appeared to be sold out and subsequently reappeared on the Mint's website. Carmichael, Two Loons, 1/2 oz Penny are other recent examples that come to mind. It seems that the Mint is creating a frenzy by suggesting coins are sold out and the result is the secondary market prices artificially rise. Then the mint comes up with more stock that sell relatively quickly as people try to cash in. Pure genius. Good work RCM marketers.  |

I order two Grey Cup coins. The stand alone Grey Cup coin came long time ago but the one bought on the same order as the Grosbeak coin has not arrived. So the mint is not splitting orders. That is why some people has not got theirs yet.

I see this coin at PO, from the day it was released to the general public. I was there this Monday and the coin is still on the display.

It is in awaiting stock now. It has been sitting in many PO since the first day. I guess there is a ahigher demand now that the grey cup is coming up
