ANACS F12 Details holder more than likely the result of the small punch center of reverse. Scratches on holder obverse.
I would actually call this a VF coin personally. Cool obverse die misalignment

Great pick up. I would agree with a VF grade this is the reason I don't send in my colonials but I will buy them for this exact reason. Not unusual for a Connecticut copper but yours has a really good strike even for a low grade it has a ton of detail.

Looks like the reverse wasn't exactly centered either, shifted to the right.

I like the good strike, too. A shame somebody felt the need to "strike" it again on the reverse.

This one I found on ebay. I usually search, "ending soonest" in a particular category, in this case, Colonials. Got a good deal on this one.

Very nice find!
I was wondering if it would be considered unusual to find Connecticut copper or other colonials in general with that kind of off centering.
