This is a nice looking coin, but it does not belong in the Ancients board. I have no idea which board, but perhaps one of the moderators will move it to the more appropriate location.

This looks like a jewelery copy of the actual coin. It's still pretty valuable if it has proper gold content - anyway gold is high now :)

I've seen plenty of Colonial Spanish gold coins, and this one doesn't seen right to me.
What is the weight?

Its a spanish 4 Escudos,(half) onza struck at the casa de moneda in Madrid (crowned M).
Assayer was Manuel de Lamas.
But to say if it is genuine, we need bigger pics and the weight.
