I can't compete with Kipster or Zookeeperz but at least my latest GB coin addition cost me only face value - a 2022 Pride 50p!

I really like the Pride 50p. The coloured ones are fantastic. One of the only 50p's of recent times that stand out for me.

It's a different type of design, very nice. It reminds me of the cultural fusion of the New Zealand half crowns.

Morning.

Here's a lovely little 1862 penny I recently got from Baldwins in London. Uncirculated, and still plenty of lustre on it. I sold my previous 1862 penny as upon closer examination it looked as thought had been previously cleaned. Shame, but once it's noticed, it's always on my mind.

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Received these two coins today from different sellers.
I'm thinking the 1 Double has been recently poorly cleaned, which is a shame.

Morning,

My William III quest continues with this 1700 Duodecimo Halfcrown. Some weakness in the centre of the reverse, but overall a pleasing addition.

Evening,

A nice little 1880 farthing picked up recently. One of the many problems with slabbed coins is erroneous bits of toot attaching themselves to the coin, as per Victoria's neck. I thought it was on the outside of the slab, but no

Evening,

Hope you're all having a good holiday.

Here's an 1826 farthing I picked up at the London Coin Fair back in March that I forgot to post. It's one of Colin Cooke's own collection (number 252) and has full lustre and original colour. The photo doesn't do it justice. There's a bit of carbon spotting at the base of Britannia, and a couple of small spots on the obverse, but a lovely piece nonetheless.

My latest is a neat lightly circulated Middlesex D&H-1041 stag & plough halfpenny, really liked this one even if I may have over paid slightly for it. One of my favorite "used" tokens I have now. I have a bunch more coming in the mail in the morning I hope to post.
