I haven't really delved much into the token realm, but some have caught my eye when browsing auction catalogues, particularly the Pidcocks Exhibition varieties, just because I love anything animal related. I'm intrigued as to how your images look so professional. Do you use a microscope to photograph them? Would very much like to know your setup please, as better images are needed at my end to properly catalogue my bits. Thank you.  |

A bit off topic for this thread, but the simple answer is: 2 - Jansjo Ikea LED Lamps with tissue over them sometimes for diffusion. Canon EOS 7D Body with an EF 100mm F/2.8 Macro Lens (older model) one USB cable and EOS Remote software to focus and run the camera remotely. It mounted to a small carbon fiber tripod on a ball head. I do have a stereo microscope but never use it for photography, occasionally I use a Bellows and a few different enlarging lenses for extreme close ups but that is all manual focusing and a pain to switch over too from the set up described above. Ok something very strange is happening the pictures are not the same as the ones I'm uploading . They come from different folders. This is when PC's really annoy me. i'll have to research why this has happened sorry for the erroneous fopar

Added penny in the file desc dont know why I never have before but it's a workaround for now :)   |

Adding "penny" and "farthing" to the filenames before uploading is the correct solution. Excellent examples, so far! |

I purchased around a half dozen more provincial tokens, but the one I was happiest to get was this 1797 Peter Kempson Warwickshire Coventry halfpenny token D&H-277 of Spon Gate, a part of the original medieval wall surrounding the town of Coventry. This is a fairly scarce token to find, especially in this condition, though the Coventry tokens with the reverse bust of George Frederick Handel are going to be even tougher - and much more expensive. Happy to acquire this one a couple of weeks ago from a friend in the UK.

Nothing quite so fancy, but here is a 1914 Guernesey 4 Doubles I acquired recently.  The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.

Not exactly a Circulation issue but the TPG's grade them so I'll assume they count and I must admit I do like the pure silver versions of these. This is King who abducted and done a runner with a certain American lassie  Edward VIII 1936 ,925 Silver crown Struck in 1946 100 piece mintage only X#M 2a   |
