Nearing the completion of my 7070. 5 coins to go! What do you think of this in terms of grade and price?
My goal was to complete a circulated set in the F + grade or better. Now OIH82W8 and others have me contemplating the gold page.

Thanks!

I'd say EF-40, with a possibility of EF-45 if there is some luster remaining around the rims. There are a few minor nicks but the color looks good and the coin does not appear to have been cleaned. Nice type coin!

XF-45 borderline AU, possibly better by wear grade but scuffed a little and no real luster.

I was thinking that too, definitely XF. That is right, AU coins have luster correct?

Pretty sharp dime! XF45 - AU50

As for the gold page...it's not really that bad, other than the delay in time to accumulate enough funds to throw down on the gold, which provides more time to work on my photography skills.

This pause provides some time to be a little more picky on potential a lay-a-way, which dealers/sellers are a little more flexible with, considering the cost.

Did I say nice dime?

I think this one should make the AU grade in my opinion. These things are small and the details on allot of them look like this in AU grades so I don't see anything that would push this one down into the XF level. When you get in to the Half Dimes you really have to look close look at them because the details on them buggers always look mushy to me. I got lucky when I started my gold page in that gold was around 600 an ounce at that time. I have been looking at prices here recently and to accomplish what I did then with the same grades and dates would cost me about as much as I spent on the whole album at that time
