Thoughts and comments on this coin would be appreciated! The color of the coin is light gray, although probably not quite as light as in the pictures.

Very nice coin, looks to be in the XF-45 range. Thanks for showing it off. :-)

Take care

Looking at the curl at the neck, the eagle's talons, and the tops of the wings, I'd have to say EF40. Looks original. Very nice coin!

Nice looking coin, and looks to be a strong XF-45 to me.

I actually don't really like this coin... (thinking of selling it). I like the busties with dark toning, and the color on this coin is so light that it looks strange. Does anyone think this coin might have been cleaned? In hand I don't see a ton of hairlines, so it doesn't look that way, but the color has always seemed strange to me.

Oh, I'm sure it has, but with this series that really doesn't factor into my (or many others, for that matter) purchases. Pretty much all of them have been cleaned at some point in almost 200 years. Unless, it's got "brillo pad ines" they all look good to me, LOL...

Nice Coin

It looked to me like the fields were darker than what appeared in the pics and that the brightness was just a little high. I also prefer the darker toning. It gives the design a lot of character.

The picture actually is fairly accurate... it is a really light colored coin in hand, it actually is pretty shiny if you get it in a touch of sun. Since it doesn't look like a "brillo pad" (nice one bonedigger!) I don't think it's been clean harshly in the past, although I suspect that it may have been lightly cleaned.

The coin is a bit darker on the edges though, and I think the picture indicates this if you look closely. I definitely like these coins darker too, I agree that it adds more character!

The coin looks unnaturally white/untoned. Nice detail but totally unoriginal.
