I need help from my Canadian Neighbors...

I found one of the RCM issued 1945-2005 Silver Proof nickels (with selective gold plating) for sale - like the following:
1945-2005-Proof-Nickel---Gold-Plate---Finger-Print---Value?

but it clearly has a finger print on both sides - seller acknowledged this
How much would this damage take form the value of one of these? I think they normally sell at 24.oo-25.00, but what would be a fair offer if I decided to go for this?

There aren't a whole lot of these coins around.
The set of four gold plated coins from the mint reports I have I spent around $125.00
The penny, nickel, and quarter were in original packaging the 50 cent was in a slab holder.

Finger prints could make the coin pretty affordable. Can't really find an example of fingerprinted proofs.
Let us know how it goes, and maybe a pic.

I would pass on a coin with finger prints - they become more of a problem over time as the skin oils from the finger(s) that caused the print continue to etch into the surface of the coin.

This particular piece is not so rare that you will not be able to find one in excellent, undamaged condition for a reasonable price. I'd wait for such an example.

Thanks for the help everyone. I will pass in this one. I know getting a non-damaged one will not make regret this decision.
