No one has hazarded a guess on this one. Is the photography that bad?

I'm not sure if it's just the photos, but the patina looks to me like a coin that has been polished. That aside, it looks to have been cleaned, judging by the hairline scratches visible in the fields. I guess overall maybe EF details, polished or cleaned.

I'm leaning towards cleaned too.

Obverse pic is showing faint hairlines that looks like cleaning to me.

Your coin has a bit too much light on it, to really give a good grade, and I don't think it has been cleaned just normal wear for a 60 year old coin.

Thanks shafta. I realize my photography leaves a little to be desired. I also think thats its easy to prequalify any attempt to grade a coin from a picture by assuming it's been cleaned. I have looked at this with a loupe and the minor scratches that are in the photo are from the plastic of the 2x2 holder that it's in. I will be reposting this picture without the holder and I have also taken steps to build my self a coin photo box made of flat black sign board so hopefully my dreadful photography improves.
