Am I the only one who sat there trying to click the second picture? Didn't realize it was apart of the image...

Beautiful & Frosty 3CS! Is it me or does the letters seem to be thicker for the business strikes and the proof letters are thinner?

Beautiful. Did you pick that up raw and submit, or did you buy it slabbed?

oih8, kinda looks that way doesn't it?

Beautiful 3 cent piece!

I agree that it does look that way, maybe just the photographs?

The look of yours is definitely similar to that of a proof cameo. Here's my example - the toning hides the cameo a bit in the picture but it's definitely evident in-hand. (The spot of "weakness" on the reverse is actually a scuff on the slab)

Thanks all!

Smokeridon, the coin actually was bought raw from someone I know and he submitted it and it got ms63 with no pl however its in a older NGC holder so it could get PL designation. But I'm gonna keep it in the original holder.

Smalleagle, look at the 1861 I posted, that one is a PR64 cameo and my MS one looks prooflike and looks like a proof!

Those pictures aren't of a Old NGC holder. It has the prongs holding the coin and it is the newer slab from NGC that has that edge view insert like that
