I have to make a post about a coin I just found today.....
I finally found my second incuse 50c!
Some of you will know that I have been looking for my second one of these for quite a while, and I have looked through a LOT of coins.
Now I need to decide: Do I move on to $1 coins and look for a mule, or stick with 50c and keep looking for incuse and rotated ones.
I am leaning towards sticking with 50c, but a mule would be nice to find.....

The 50 cents and the $1 Aussie coins are the most prolific as far as variety and errors go. I have these sets in 2 large albums and I still have only scratched the surface with them. Whichever way you go it will be fun because of the sheer number of different coins and mint marks ($1 coins) that are out there, Add the silver proof coins and it is quite an interesting lot of coins to complete a set Congratulations on the find

I know just how hard you have been searching for these little buggers. I'm really glad to hear you found another one mate, you were definitely due for one!

I'd stick the 50c because you're more likely to find something good.
Lucky find anyway.

All I can say is congratulations, and I hope you continue to enjoy the noodling regardless of whether it leans towards the 50c's or $1's :)

I found an incuse last week as well so congrats I know how hard they are to come by. My suggestion is to look for both the mule plus the 50 cent rotated and more incused. Imagine the joy if you find them all.

The Unicorn, I have done pretty well so far. I have found -wavey 20c -incuse 50c -rotated 50c The ones that spring to mind still to find are the 2000 mule, 2001 rotated 20c and 2001 rotated $1

I would much rather have found as many rotated 50c as you have than have found a mule.

Weird! I have found 3 dollar mules and yet to find an incused 50c, or a rotated dollar. And only found my first 20c pointy A last week.

I've found about 10 Incuse, zero Mules, zero Wavy 20c. Just not in the right place at the right time I guess.

Thanks Jeff for the incused pics and descriptions above. I have always found it hard to know what to look for, so will go through all of my 30 or so again to see if there might be one I had missed. The smooth inside of the starts is a good clue.

They are quite obvious when you see them. When I started noodling I was puzzled by the pictures in maccas and on the net but as soon as I found an incuse I knew straight away.
