Look at the date, way off. Needs to be RPT.

Thanks for the quick responses. I did report them and hopefully it gets pulled. I just happened to be looking at what these go for and came across this one. There was another I was going to put here that the grade seemed way off but I can't find it.

Real ones have no arrows at date and have standard weight of 26.73 grams. Fake, fake, fake! At least this one's simple to spot and the seller showed a flash of honesty by actually posting the weight. Anyone up for reporting the auction to ebay? It appears that someone's getting burned for over $150 based on the current bid. A fool and his money, etc.

I have reported it also. Its definitely fake for the reasons everyone else has pointed out, even though the price tells me not many are being fooled

Anybody consider mentioning it to this brand-new seller, or have we decided arbitrarily that he's a criminal and deserves no consideration?

You are right SsuperDdave. I know I pulled the report level quickly but did follow up with an email

He did list the weight. That deserves some credibility ;)

I emailed him earlier as well that the coin appeared fake when I checked his recent sold items and thought it may be possible he didn't know it was. He does get credit for listing the weight, yes.

Has anyone else noticed all his feedbacks come from his purchases and his one feedback as a seller is a Neutral?

The 1873 dime, quarter and half all came with and without arrows due to the change in weight that year. The Half Dime and dollar do not because rather than change the weight on those two coins they were discontinued in 1873.
