I've been looking for a Fugio for quite some time. With advice and assistance from a CCF member (thanks Dave) I was able to purchase this one and it arrived today.

It's a Newman 19-SS Rarity 5 Off center and the EAC Grade is 15/10.

I don't have any documentation on Fugio varieties. Can someone tell me some of the details that help identify this as a 19-SS?

that is a link to the site I use to ID fugios.

from link:
obverse 19: "Last column of M aligned with B's column. Thick left column of you overlaps I and N's first column. Second you column is thinner but it has a long top that stretches out under almost the entirety of N. S to the left of D. Diamond over IN gap. Y over N with Y to the right. O over E with E a tiny tiny tiny bit to the left. Last S in BUSINESS straddles gap of your in YOUR. D<>Y has even, medium spacing."

hope that helps. btw great fugio, one of my all time favorite coins....

Beautiful color and nice planchet.

First person singular of the Latin for "to flee." So, "I flee," combined with a sun and sundial, sends the message in words and pictures of "Time flies, so mind your business."
For the Fugio coin, here's a good background:
