I picked this one up for a friend who is putting together his slabbed 7070 yesterday and wanted to see what the CCF thought of it. She appears to have the separated thumb & index finger, indicating a better than average strike.

Thanks for your opinions!

Of all my walkers my 1936 seems to be the best strike, I would put yours as MS 64.

In terms of contact marks this looks like an easy MS-65. The images don't really show the luster but I presume it is full and intense. Strike looks strong and I agree you have thumb separation which is very desirable. Nice coin overall, and this common date is reasonably priced in MS-65. An excellent choice for type!

Awesome Walker! What's not to love about a well struck MS 1930something Walker. I'll agree with the MS64 crowd.

Nicely struck! I guess maybe I'm reading the photographs wrong because I thought it was missing luster on the leg (obv) and breast (rev), I was going to guess 58. If there's luster through, I'm with 64 (63+ over 65).

I think MS64 easily from a TPG the luster or surface doesn't look disturbed, that could make it a solid 65 in hand.

Although I do not have the "full slab" image, it is a MS64.
Rest in Peace

64 is definitely not a fair grade, its an easy 65 unless there is some rim hit or excessive mark we aren't seeing. Seen stuff like this in 66 holders and its got the appeal for it.
