I would say XF 40 with a weak obverse strike. I am still learning to grade these to take this with a grain of salt.

Is that 3 1/2 legs I see? I thought I remember reading somewhere that they were finding 3 1/2 and 3 3/4 varieties.

Great find! A combination of good luck and persistence.

I think I see all the legs in all the right places...but I'll let an expert decide that for sure.

Even if it isn't worth a lot, it is amazing to find such an old coin.

If this was a bank roll find it's huge! It's really amazing the quantity of collectible coins that are finding their way back into circulation. I got a 1922 Peace dollar in change at Taco Bell a few months ago.
