VF20 or VF30 (I'm leaning toward the '30').

The coin is at least a 20 and most likely a 30.

I have found over the last 15 years, for some reason or other, when ICCS grades a dark coin they are always one or two grades lower than normal.

You check all the ICCS graded vf20's and vf30's on ebay for the KGV 25c series and no one here can tell me this coin shouldn't be one of thiose grades.

The fact that the coin is very dark, I suspect, is the reason for the 'Fine' grade (unjustified as it is IMHO).

I'm no big fan of TPG's and, without the coin in hand one cannot really tell an accurate grade, but this coin has quite a bit of wear on the crown and the side of the face so, I can see why they graded it F-15

VF30 in my opinion. The dark toning accentuates the wear, making it look more prominent than it really is.

ICCS grades by Canadian standards, grade of circulated coins is by wear only.Damage, cleaning etc. should be noted but do not lower grade.Don't see any reason why this coin isn't VF20
