Vancouver... I know two dealers that will be getting something from this horde, J&M, and Coinmart. No idea as to what they ordered, nor what they will be asking for them.

I can't get the best pictures with my USB microscope to do it justice but I am definitely happy with my purchase.

I spoke to someone at J&M Coins about the gold coins and he told me they ordered them but they have not arrived yet. Also, they don't know what price they will be selling them for.

I highly doubt they will sell at issue price of $500.

The gold coins we seen so far on this forum are very high quality. We have yet to have any complaints about them.

SilverBug, I think your coin would grade MS-60, but the bulls-eye toning on both sides is awfully darn nice...

thanks SPP-Ottawa:)

Hi all. Well, I bought six coins: 1 1913 $10, 1 1914 $10, 1 1912 $5, 1 1913 $5, and 2 1914 $5 coins (wish I'd bought 3 of the 1914). This morning, I just got notice that all my $5 coins have shipped, though I'm still waiting for the $10 coins to ship.

I bought the extra 1914 $5 to resell fairly quickly, but I'm actually thinking I might hold on to it; I guess I'll make my mind up when they arrive. I'm still fairly new to numismatics (my first purchase was 5 sets of the 25th Anniversary US Silver Eagle sets) but I also love history and these coins were a natural. I'm just glad the Mint didn't charge me over Christmas, things were tight ;)

I'm a fairly decent photographer - once my coins arrive, I'll snap up a few macros and post them; I'd be curious as to the forum's collective wisdom on their possible rating.

CC.

Welcome aboard!
We look forward to viewing your pictures!

Where are you people getting shipping confirmation from?

email? Master Club site? Call to or from the mint?

It should be an email that is linked to your RCM account. But I don't always get shipping confirmation emails.

I rarely get shipping emails, but I notice my cc was recently charged for the 1913 and 1914 $5 coins.

You have to sign for it. Most coins I get from the Mint require a signature. Its only those that come by lettermail that don't need a signature.
