I don't understand then why some have had theirs already. Do they ship according to the time and date you ordered? I ordered my 1914 5 HS on November 29 and my account says processing since about six days ago.

As of today, I have 5 of the 6 I ordered. Still waiting on the 1913 $10. I am very impressed with the condition of these 'hand selected' coins. I'm hard pressed to find any defects on any of the ones I just received. Pictures to follow.

I ordered a 1914 5 HS. And I got a money request form for it from Mint a week ago. I guess they could have problem to do the transaction on my CC I left to them in the first place. But it is a good sign, because it means they are handling 1914 5 HS orders now.

Lol- I only have 3 out of the 18 I ordered... so your doing quite well! I have no idea how they decide shipping, I was also one of the last to receive my 5 penny sets!

Just this afternoon the mint has charged my credit card for three orders, two HS 1914 $5, one Premium 1914 $5, and three of the 2nd coin in the 1/2oz O Canada series(beaver). The mint certainly doesn't make it easy on the avaerage collector, luckily I anticipated this and prepaid my credit card for the first time ever.

I was looking at the article in the The Canadian Numismatic Journal about the hoard and noticed they proposed a $2 1/2 dollar gold coin back when these were first being designed. It had more of a wreath/vine design around the coat of arms and would have been a beautiful addition to Canadian gold coins. I own multiple $2 1/2 US gold w/incuse indian and I love'em, just because they're different.
