Canada Gold New Member Canada 10 Posts	Posted 02/08/2013 3:46 pm I received my complete order today. The set of six plus two extra 1914 $5. They all look amazing, much nicer than I expected! None of the 8 would grade under MS62!! The two nicest are 1913 $10 and 1913 $5. Both would easily grade MS63! I also believe all 3 1914 $5 would grade MS63! MoneyPenney Pillar of the Community Canada 2984 Posts	Posted 02/09/2013 01:46 am Received my 1913 $5 coin today. It was smaller than what I expected, only the size of a nickel. Otherwise, the coin is nice, except for some minor edge wear on the coin. Like all the other coins I have seen on this forum, the front of the coin looks nicer than the back with the King on it. john100 Pillar of the Community Canada 5327 Posts	Posted 02/09/2013 09:23 am the kings face is the highest point in the coin as thus will incur most of the bag marks, while the tail or coat of arms is lower design and probalbly looks better on all examples along with a few rim dims. what really be interesting is what the premium hand select and the super best of the best 140 sets looks like? Or are these coins that were never circulated, only to be put in bags and jangled around quite a bit as some late night guard at the Bank of Canada got a thrill picking them up and slamming them down on the vault floor? ;) CC Report this Post to the Staff
Fender New Member Canada 14 Posts	Posted 02/09/2013 9:09 pm Hey all, New to the forum but have been lurking for a little bit. I am waiting for my 2 x $10 1912 hand selected to arrive. I wish I could figure out the mints shipping....still "processing" my order! (man I'm jealous of those that have received their coins already) After seeing some of the coins you guys have received I'm considering buying what's left at the mint. Looking at buying either 2 x 1913 or or 2 x 1914 $10 . Question is...which coin would you guys consider the "better bet"? I bought the 1912's to one day give to my sons.
