I'm so super jealous of hunters who have found banks with coin counter machines. Some banks here have machines, but they have to be sorted, and you have to wait FOREVER for them to use it. It would take less time for me to reroll as I go along.
So are there any banks with free coin counters in upstate NY? I tried doing a google search, but apparently it's advertised much...

Canandaigua National Bank has free coin counting machines for customers. They have a lot of branches in the Rochester/Canandaigua area. About 50% of the braches have the machines.
On a side note, they always ask for your customer info, and then type stuff in there computer. This makes me wonder if they are keeping attract of the amount of $$$ I put through there machine. I only due cents so the $$$ amount is less than someone looking for silver, but every once and awhile a teller will comment that they are all pennies...

https://www.cnbank.com/locations.aspxThe closest branch to you is in Geneva, but it currently does not have a coin counter according to there website. The closest with a coin counter would be the main branch in Canandaigua.

Americu offers free counting for members. I see there is branch in Auburn which is suppose to have one
I've been a member with them for a long time and use the coin counter over near the Syracuse branches but never been to the Auburn branch. Good Luck

Watch out for CNB machines. Been using one for 1 month now and it is always jamming and not counting correctly.
They have alot of people bringing in coins by the thousands, but they are not taking care of their equipment.
Last time I dumped halves and quarters the report slip showed I dumped some dimes and nickels. I bought boxes and know I did not have those coins in the mix. I was out about $7 from what I figured.
Anybody buying bags from CNB?

From what I hear, dumping halves puts a lot of wear on those machines. So I probably wouldn't blame CNB, as its tough keeping up with the silver hunters.
