A great find. Definitely a keeper & it only cost you $10! for a number 10! Extremely low serial, quite likely a sought after number, especially round numbers (i.e 10,20,100,1000,10000 etc). By the looks of it, in reasonable condition. A few creases, but looks like it has nice colour, would be fairly crisp. Probably grade at VF+. I found a number 60 in $20 in the same year, it was the first 8 digit radar that I found, with the serial obviously being 06 000060. Fantastic find, welcome to the world of notes! In regards to serials, this is how I see it: <010000 - Low serial <001000 - Very low serial <000100 - Extremely low serial <000010 - Amazingly low serial (that's a new one, I've nevery really had to mention them much, apart from a couple of notes I've found & seen at auctions from time-to-time) Same thing on the other end, in regards to high serials. (>990000,>999000,>999900,>999990)

One in a million eh Robster ..... Absolutely fabulous! My best ever was a $10 with the letters TEN .... tough times made us part in the mid 90's.

Ooooh that is NICE
Million notes are rare as hen's teeth.
Wonder what'd be the rarest, a solid with both solid letters AND serials, or a million note? The Million notes were discontinued in the early 1970's so there would be very few available in the decimal series. A solid solid would have been printed throughout the paper note series, and would still be theoretically available today.

Nice, it's a Phillips/Randall, but still ultra-rare!! If only I collected $2 instead of $50's.

Here is a note I was given in change about a week ago and as far as I am concerned it is a definite keeper. What I love about it is not only is it close to being an Extremely high serial (on Goatieman's scale) but it has four 9s in the serial number and as an added bonus is a 2009 note. Before you ask, Goatieman, this note isn't for sale.

Very nice. That's a note I can appreciate. I'm looking at buying a note that's got an awesome serial number, the condition's not amazing, but it's a last prefix. Then again you didn't pay for that note & I'm looking at paying a premium... darn I'm a sucker for $50's. If (&/or when) I get it, I'll be posting it here!

The note I mentioned that I was buying, is now owned by me...yeah! Woohoo. Not cheap, not in great condition but I needed it. JC98 999990Smallest polymer $50 last prefix run & the ninth highest note! Was it worth it...hell yeah. I paid a decent premium, but for obvious reasons in my case. It's probably in about Fine to Fine condition. It's now my highest serial...$50 JC98 999990 (Last prefix) My lowest serial (which I found in circulation, amazingly) is...$10 AA06 000004
