As a Canadian, I am not up on these mintages, but one US site had shown a 1921D Lincoln Penny

What is the true story here.

What denomination? Denver only minted dimes, half dollars, and dollars in 1921. 1921 and 1922 mintages for the minor coins were fairly low at all mints due to the minting demands for silver dollars, almost 200 million were struck in that 2 year span.
