Poll Question
So as a follow up to my DCA thread...I looked for a stack size poll and could not find one. Maybe wrong search words or something, I dunno... so with the same thought process that inspired my DCA thread...what is your stack size come Dec. 1st 2012?

Poll Choices
 1 - 25 oz
 26 - 50 oz
 51 - 100oz
 101 - 250 oz
 251 - 500 oz
 501 - 750 oz
 751 - 1000 oz
 1001 - 1500 oz
 1501 - 2000 oz
 2051 - 3000 oz
Im the bomb with over 3001 oz

Good timing! Time to re-load...

Thanks for piquing my curiosity in the other thread, samsnate.
I counted all my 1992 to 2012 Silver Proof coins just to see how many ounces of Ag they have as a group.

Bought gold with what I got for the silver... And my coin buys have had me spending the rest...

So I can't reload on silver

voted just under 90 oz not counting coins (300 oz with coins), but I am hoping to sell or trade 60+ oz for coins this coming weekend at a coin show.

All of mine is just a by product of strictly numismatic collecting. About 10 ounces nett.
The actual weight of silver in my numismatic collection would be around 10 kilogrammes.

That would count as a "re-load". Can't criticize trading Ag for Au!

None of your recent numismatic purchases were silver coins?!

Assembling a "cherry-picked" complete 1992-2012 run of Silver Proof Sets and the 2004-2012 Silver Quarter Sets (31.5 oz of Ag total) over the years resulted in an entire run of duplicate Sets, extra Sets on top of that, then add in the no-box/COA lenses and loose coins I paid around melt for.

Result: A 100+ oz. "stack" of modern Silver Proof coins, without even intending to create a "silver stack"!

Canadian Gold Maples at Spot... And new ones too!

And yes, some of my Numismatic purchases have been silver... But I only count non-Numismatic silver that I would flip if I wanted to.

Great posts guys...nice work all of you on the Ag or the Au front

I also only count my bullion. I do have other oz in my albums but I haven't counted that into the equation.

Also impressed that we have 5 votes for over 3000 oz..congrats on attaining that amount guys and gals

Started in August. Spreading it around. 60 oz raw ASE's, 40 oz slabbed ASE's (some proof), 50 oz ATB 5oz pucks, $100 face 90% halves (EF), and $60 face Morgans and Peace (EF/AU). Sitting back and waiting now. Either selling at $50 or doubling down at $20.
