Hi all. I am very happy to report that I noodled a pointy A 2004 20 cent coin on the weekend. Gotta love having to 'do' work's petty cash float on a Friday and having the weekend to get through a coupla hundred bucks worth of coin.

The condition is okay, nothing to write home about, but still it is one more coin I can now cross off my must-have list.

Keep at it and, before long, you will find another one.
Do you have a 2008 20¢ "gap" or a 2010 20¢ "bubble" yet?

Well done. I have noticed a significant decline in the number of these I'm finding so I think theyre definitely worth hanging onto.

I found my first one the other day too :)
Are they worth much? there are only 400 000 minted.

... found my third "pointy A" 2004 20 cent piece over the weekend. I found the first two in one Armaguard roll about 9 months ago. Shiny and almost new . My "number 3" is rather more worn, from a substantial time in the "financial ocean" .
Pic posted in the "Noodling find of the week thread on CCF".

I am definitely keeping these coins .

Hi Jeff, I noodled a 2008 20c gap about two weeks ago. It has a huge gap, but the condition is fairly ordinary, so I didn't get too excited about it.

I'm still hunting for a bubble though.

My other noodling 'must-haves' to find are also two of the hardest - a mule and an incused flag. Also hunting a 180 deg rotated 50c.

I'm enjoying the hunt, and have some some quite unusual finds that I will post here once I am on holidays from work in a few weeks.

Does this beast exist?

I know there's a 30 deg rotation on the 2010 50c.

Nice find with the 2008 'gap'.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved
