$20 bucks, want to swap? just joking. I did a quick search, very fine to uncirculated shows $1700-$1800. Not sure the weight of the coin, but it looks like 1oz gold? Welcome to the CCF.

Definitely get it graded. It could be a very high ticket coin as 1929 is one of the hardest dates. Please post pictures of it here, too!

That is a scarce date in the series that is worth a small fortune. I am also partial to that date since 1929 is the year my father was born. It is vital that you can establish it's authenticity. The coin's diameter should be 34.1mm. Do you have a scale? It should weigh 33.431 grams. If the coin passes these tests, definetly take it to a coin shop and have it certified. I would expect a coin like that to fetch at least 4-5K on ebay maybe more. Nice find!

The 1929 $20 Saint is extremely rare. It's value ranges from $10,000 for a low grade damaged example to $100,000 for a MS65 example.

Unfortunately from the pictures posted it does not appear to be genuine.

Here are a couple of photos if any one would like to have a go at grading or there abouts thanks for the info and help. Also there is Latin written around the edge of the coin if that helps

The 1929 $20 is very valuable and easily sells for tens of thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, I believe the coin is not genuine. The details look weak and mushy. The hair and some of the leaves in the branch look off.

Unfortunately, I must agree with the others....this coin is a fake. The font on the date are way off. The bottoms of both "9" in the date should point down....yours points horizontally.
