When I go on vacation, any valuables that won't fit in my SDB, goes to my parents house.
My dad has a nice safe and, there always home.

I am guessing an option would be to rent one of those climate controlled storage units. They usually have security cameras set up and they are always inside instead of the type you pull up, throw open the door, grab and go places. Some people do not live near family so taking them elsewhere is not an option for them either. I saw one of these climate controlled unit places today and this thread came to mind for a hoard so large that wouldn't fit in any SDB I know of. There are some down falls with this option also but may be a little better security than leaving it all at home when you are traveling
