I was wondering if theres a list of known Washington Dollar errors?

I've had a look through and havent seen any mention of the ones I have but I may have missed the post if one was done.
Sorry for the bad pic but it was the best I could get with my camera.

Curved die polish line from the crown.

This has been discussed on another forum and found to be remenants of a die clash. Hold another GW dollar along side and look for outline of Washington. Here is a pic from the other thread.

Thanks for that. Much better pic than mine.
Studying the coin more I have found one other part that confirms die clash. Ended up with 4 of these and alot with blobs on the arm in 1 roll. I take it they are reasonably common.

Well if it was part of the life of one die it may be less common then the no edge lettering. LOL

I think it has great coolness factor and would put them in 2X2 holders.

They all are in 2x2 holders after all with post the roll cost me AU$80 to search for a no edge lol.
The 4 of these worked out well as a variety/error collector cause I got 2 each with the edge both ways. No I'm not getting into the upside down rubbish errors lol but having a set lettering both ways just fills that variety spot

Got a much better pic of one of mine. Must be a later strike than the one pictured above as the clash is clearly shorter.

not considered errors I guess? I found 4 coins with some type of dye error around the word "states"... more like globs of cub getting stuck there.

no, not my listing, I have something very close to that listing. If you want, you cover shipping plus original cost of the coin and I'll send you. One roll of $25 was $35 so it'd be $1.40 plus shipping for a coin similar to the one there.

Are dollar coins with the upside down side lettering really an error or is it just 2 different sets of the same coin? There are a few on ebay. Just was wondering about it.

PSPVinyls, welcome tot he forum!

The orientation of the edge lettering is completly random on the business strike Presidential dollars, creating two varieties. The proofs have upright edge lettering as the edge will be applied by a collar method instead of a separate vertical press. Anyone selling them as errors on ebay is either clueless or trying to commit fraud. ebay has been actively pulling those listings.
