I was hunting some half dollars for silver and when I didn't find any I decided to look at them a bit closer for DDs and I found this little fella.

I checked ebay completed listings and couldn't find any 1988 DDR. Any thoughts on grade and value?

From those pics it appears to be Machine Doubling. Looks flat and shelflike to me.

You are correct. I had to go back and reread that post about the difference between the two but this is Machine Doubling not a doubled die. Does MD add any value to the coin or is this just face value?
