But I just have to say what a shame such a beautiful coin was damaged. Eventually the price of gold will exceed whatever price discount is necessary to interest a buyer. Report this Post to the Staff

This is an common date, circulated coin and would be worth (essentially) melt value even if it were problem-free. I would grade it AU Details - Scratched/Cleaned. Valued at $415 today.
