I just accidentally bought here a coin bearing a different unusual reverse....one dime-that of Roosevelt metal (reverse)....one cent- that of Lincoln metal cent.....Lincoln cent reverse and Roosevelt dime reverse muled!--is that the correct term?...the size is that of Roosevelt dime.....at first I thought it was fake but upon researching, I think the coin I have might be real....but I haven't seen even one like this in the net....is it existing? I tested the coin's metal and it bears those of the dime and cent metal.could this be a coin error?
Could someone tell me about this coin? Thanks!
Boyet ->Philippines

At first I dont know how to upload pictures the members of this forum tought me.

you must have a scanner but I used digital camera 3.2 pixel set it in macro setting a flower symbol will appear in the screen of the camera dont used flash since it is very sunny in the Philippines today use a natural ligth but not much to reflect it, for you will have a glare of light and practice,it did take me several shots and time and still practicing until today or you can borrow from someone who have one and a tripod for stable positioning if not something that will hold it and time caption,

You may find that a photo from your computer cannot be directly donwload to the forum for its file is to big I used the photoloader from this forum and its FREE for download then save it to the file and attached it to your post.

Hope this will help any problem we will consult expert in this forum.

Your description indicated that coin had two different metals ? that is impossible ,,not to mention that it is also impossible for the reverse die to fit the machines in the holder for the obverse die they are different sizes.

I hope you can get your pictures up on the forum ,,you can download from your computer as long as the file size is below 100KB ,, just take the picture size it to below 100KB and follow the prompts after clicking the camera Icon.

thank you very much for uploading the pics for me sir Tim....
the coin was aligned to a real Roosevelt dime and as you can see they are of the same size...could this be a Magicians coin or the coin is real?
the coin is just a little bit thinner than the Roosevelt dime... thanx! thanx!

I agree. After looking at the pics, it seems to be a novelty coin. I am sure more people will chime in with their opinions as well

This looks to me like two different coins which have been modified to fit together, thus making a novelty (or magician's) coin. However, there are far more expert opinions around than mine!
