I absolutely love the design of this coin, but have no idea how to grade it. Thoughts would be appreciated.

I will guess AU-58. I think there may be just a touch of wear on the knee. Nice coin!

Based on the photos I can see little, if any, wear on the high points of the coin. So I'm thinking high AU/low MS.

I await the opinions of the real experts.

I would say AU55 (light rubs on the eagles breast, wings, head and legs, Angels right fore arm, leg, breast and hair...and a darn nice (low mintage 9,039) design as well (I have one of these in my 7070)!

Yeah this one resides in my 7070 for the time being....until I find a nicer one that's priced right. I was guessing mid to high AU ....maybe low MS, but not familiar with the series. The guy I bought it from said "Well this is at least a VF in my opinion" I think he knew less about it than I did haha.

I am familiar with this lovely series and suggest high AU ... circulation rub is evident in the photos on the high points of both the obverse and reverse portraits.

Nice coin indeed.

AU55 seems right to me. What wear there is is not distracting at all.

I'm not a big fan of commemoratives but this is a really classy design. It only has open fields on the obverse so that is where I look for rub and loss of luster. There is just a slight dullness visible at the upper left and lower right; otherwise luster seems very strong. I'm thinking AU-58 based on these parameters.

Maybe I ought to keep my eyes open for a nice example of this type.....

I'll say MS63 on this beauty. Thing is just dripping with luster.
