Curious how they rounded/cupped the coin like this w/o removing the lettering?....I do see stress cracks from the bend, but assume it's with a press?pretty neat either way!
I remember similar coins listed a few years ago as "trench art",unless I'm on the completely wrong tram they were compressed in the breech of a gun or something like that.
There is at least one You Tube video that shows how make a ring out of a US silver half dollar. It is done by tapping the rim with a spoon -- apparently for hours. It doesn't seem to ruin the lettering at all.
