I hope this is the right place to post this. Forgive me if not moderator.

This video shows someone making a long lasting battery (wet cell) from Zincolns. At first he defaces some, but in the second half he does not. This is similar to how Volta made the first battery. Cool to see pennies being used .

Cool idea perhaps modifying a cent tube would keep the moisture in the cardboard better and make a longer lasting battery.
I can see I am going to have to play around some with my metal detecting finds
