The worst thing about albums with coins is how difficult it is to get the sheets out from underneath their protection covers. Example: found a Lincoln 1909 VDB in an album but can't remove the sheet to take a back and front picture for grading. Anyone else agree? Also have a Kennedy D silver clad with the same problem.

Sorry ... I have no clue what you are writing about ... is this a question or comment?

Why did you post in the commemorative thread?

Please clarify the meaning of your post.

Thanks

David

I was posting this on the commemorative thread because the coins are in a commemorative album and can't be removed, and was wondering if there was any way of actually removing them from the album to take pictures. Sorry that it was confusing.

We always wish to help ...

I have no clue how you can have both a Lincoln Cent and Kennedy half stuck in the same commemorative album.

Show us a photo and describe the problem ... then perhaps we can offer some help.

Thanks. Here's a few pictures. If you need me to take a picture of the entire album, let me know and I will do so.

I could be wrong, but the coins appear to be in what is commonly referred to as a "folder" vs. an album.

If that's the case, you should be able to remove the coins by turning each page over and applying pressure directly behind the coin(s). They should pop out with a little bit of effort.

Great, thanks. Sorry for the earlier confusion. I didn't know what to call them as I thought they were albums. Cleared that up for me.

I'll move this over to the supply forum since these really aren't commemorative's from the sense of the coins. Plus, there will be folks that may have run into this problem over there.

Definitely a folder and not an album. Is there a chance that the whole page was sealed with a plastic shrink wrap that does not allow for removal of the coins without destroying the folder?
